October 2014 Caliendo Event at the Seppala's
A wonderful time was had by all attending a private open-air concert by the Caliendos at the Seppala's home out on Mines. This fundraiser raised almost $9000 towards this season's concerts! Thank you all for your support!

 

Mother's Day 2014 Celebration at Uncle Yu's in Livermore! rose
PCS celebrated the end of its 25th year - and Mothers Day - with a wonderful party at Uncle Yu's! This fundraiser raised almost $700 towards next year's concerts! Thank you all for your support!

The celebration began immediately following the performance. Patrons shared the excitement of the World Premiere of "The Sherlock Holmes Suite" with friends at Sanctuary after and mingled with Maestro Kohl and Composer Christpher Caliendo.

PCS/Lafayette enjoyed their first-ever perofrmance event at i-Sushi in Lafayette on Friday , November 22. Wonderful food and wonderful company!



'Sunday at Uncle Yu's with Lawrence'   Uncle Yu's
PCS/Livermore had a lovely no-host dinner (with Baldacci wine!) to celebrate the beginning of the 25th season after hearing Bach's Brandenburg Concertos at the Bankhead in Livermore. This dinner-only event was on November 24, 2013 from 4-6pm at Uncle Yu's at the Vineyard. Thank you for supporting PCS!

Private Caliendo House Concert - the Seppala's hosted this exceptional concert to benefit the Pacific Chamber Symphony. Thank you all for attending this lovely 'concert under the oaks.'

The silemt auction raised almost $4800 to support PCS! Extraordinary art, culinary delights, event tickets and much, much more were on auction—including the beautiful home decor artwork of artist Reut Shahar, designer of Kakadu. Thank you!

Pacific Chamber Symphony

has it all: a dynamic conductor, brilliant musicians, beautiful music, and a friendly atmosphere. A San Francisco-based 30 member orchestra, Pacific Chamber Symphony’s intoxicating sound melds chamber music’s intimate clarity with instrumental variety and symphonic power.

Since 1989, the Pacific Chamber Symphony has performed over 400 different works in over 500 concert appearances. Pacific Chamber Symphony has a season of 3 to 5 concerts sets with performances in San Francisco, Napa, Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Pacific Chamber Symphony educational programs have brought classical music to over 200,000 Bay Area children through full orchestra concerts for kids, maestro visits to school classrooms,  school assembly performances, master classes for music students, and training in our Tri-Valley Youth Orchestra.

Pacific Chamber Symphony has been honored to perform for significant occasions such as the United Nations’ 60th Anniversary World Concert Celebration held at Grace Cathedral in June 2005.
